Description
Prochem Microsan is a disinfectant hard surface and carpet sanitiser which is effective against bacteria including MRSA and viruses including Coronavirus, Hepatitis B and HIV.
The clear, apple blossom fragranced alkaline sanitiser is approved to EN1276 and EN14476 standards to provide a simple and effective way to maintain good hygiene standards on carpets, hard flooring and surfaces. The use of Prochem Microsan is especially important where vunerable adults or children live or visit or where blood and other bodily fluids may be present such as within nursing homes, children’s nurseries, salons and clinics.

How To Use Microsan 5 Litre Concentrate
- Always wear protective gloves, overalls and eye protection when cleaning blood, bodily fluids or sewage material
- Pre-test in an inconspicuous area before full application to check for texture or colour change
- Microsan concentrate should be freshly diluted before use
- Do not mix Microsan Sanitiser with any other detergents
For standard cleaning mix 20ml of Microsan with 1 litre of water (2%)
For heavy soiling and virus contamination mix 60ml of Microsan with 1 litre of water (6%)
The solution should be applied to carpets, surfaces and flooring by sprayer. Allow 15 minutes contact time before rinsing. For decontamination of Hepatitis B and HIV allow a minimum of 30 minutes contact time.
Carpets and fabrics should be rinsed with Prochem Fibre & Fabric Rinse – B109 after application.

- Microsan RTU contains a 6% solution of Microsan concentrate
Microsan 1 litre spray is ready-to-use. Apply solution by sprayer to contaminated surfaces and allow 15 minutes contact time before wiping, blotting or rinsing.
For decontamination of Hepatitis B and HIV-1 virus allow a minimum of 30 minutes contact time before rinsing.
